                                                        Terms and Conditions

  1. When an Intensive Driving Course is booked the deposit is non refundable.
  2. The remaining balance of the course must be paid at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the course if paying by cheque or credit card.   If paying by cheque, please make payable to N. Knight and send to our office.  If paying by cash, the balance must be paid on the start of the course.
  3. Debit /credit cards are subject to a 4% surcharge per transaction using pay pal.
  4. Your practical test will be booked for you for the end of your course. (If this is not possible due to DSA timetable, we will book the first available test).
  5. It is the pupils responsibility to notify us of any dates they cannot be available during their course. Drive by Knight will not be held responsible for any short notice tests that are booked if this condition is not complied with.
  6. When an Intensive driving course has been booked and Drive by Knight has not been notified of cancellation or rearrangement within the 14 day cancellation period , the balance becomes payable and Drive by Knight will take all appropriate steps to collect this money.
  7. When an instructor arrives slightly late for a lesson due to circumstances beyond their control,  the instructor will make every effort  to extend the finish time of the lesson or add the time to a following lesson.
  8. When  a pupil fails to arrive for a prearranged lesson the instructor will wait for a maximum of 30 minutes before a no show fee becomes payable. The no show fee will equal the price of the lesson missed.
  9. Drive by Knight may substitute another instructor if unforeseen circumstances arrive.
  10. All Drive by Knight vehicles are non smoking environments.
  11. Pupils will be permitted to use the training car for the driving test as long as they have reached the required standard for the test, Drive by Knight will advise you to move your test before the cancellation date if this is the case (if time permits on intensive courses). If the pupil has not reached the required standard we reserve the right to refuse the use of the training car for the driving test.
  12. The cost of the car for the driving test  is the same as the cost of the car for the lesson.  If a lesson is booked prior to the driving test , then a 2 hour fee would be payable.
  13. A valeting charge will be made for any malicious soiling of the tuition vehicle.
  14. No refunds will be given on The Pass Course..
  15. The Pass course tests will be booked by ourselves.
  16. Drive by Knight will not be held responsible if your course is affected by the following circumstances

 

 

        Refunds can only be given if Drive by Knight cannot provide an instructor for the course (exception for this is condition 12)
