Theory Test

A two part test comprising a multiple choice element of 50 questions with 57 minutes to do the test, the pass mark is 43 out of 50, and a hazard perception element comprising 14 video clips with 15 hazards to spot. The earlier you spot the hazard the more marks you get (total 5 marks per hazard) this element is done on a computer as well. The pass mark is 44 out of 75.

Practical Driving Test

A 45 minute drive around a specified route in the test area with a driving examiner, this test is taken in our car. you will be expected to do 1 out of 3 manoeuvres and possibly an emergency  stop along with the forward driving element. This test also now include about 10 minutes of independent driving. You are allowed to make a total of 15 driver errors and no serious or dangerous errors to pass this test
